The business intelligence toolset originally developed by Brio Technologies has been a
very popular product. Through the years, the product
name has changed several times (BrioQuery, Brio Intelligence, Hyperion Intelligence, and
now "IR Studio") but the product has remained fundamentally the same.
IR Studio is a module of Oracle Business Intelligence Suite Enterprise Edition Plus that provides
business users with intuitive user-directed relational query capabilities and complex data modeling for
full ad hoc access to source data. IR Studio can pull together data from different sources to produce easy to use
charts, pivot tables, highly formatted reports, and more.
Effective June 1, 2010, Department of Administrative Services (DAS), State Controller's Division (SCD),
Statewide Accounting and Reporting Services (SARS) purchased an enterprise license for the State of
Oregon that entitles all state agency personnel to install IR Studio for accessing
the Datamart.
IMPORTANT NOTE! Although individual users may download the files independently, we highly recommend that users
coordinate with their local IT support personnel. In many instances, we believe the IT support unit
will choose to develop an agency-wide rollout plan.
